Psp game help?

I have metal slug anthology and it broke, and it was us region i also downloaded the cso and it is the european version. I used to play co-op with a friend and he has the usa version, will I still be able to play with him even if I have the europe version? Also if I can't can someone give me the website where I can download the US version of the cso.
