Bosnian food/recipe... please help?

My girlfriend is Bosnian and her b-day is this Friday. Little does she know I'm a capable cook so I plan to surprise her with her favorite Bosnian dish. Unfortunately my language skills aren't as keen as my culinary ones so I have no idea what the name of her favorite dish is to find a recipe. She described it as a "typically a poorer persons dish consisting of pieces of beef over a special bread covered in a gravy/sauce." I think it starts with a P but that could be wrong since I can't really understand Bosnian. A name would help immensely and a recipe would be even better.
