Guys, how do you present gifts to your wife?

Today is my 33rd bday. My husband went out last night trying to find me a gift. He ended up going to Target since the mall was closed. Today he hands me a shoebox w/ shoes & jeans in it. The red sales price tags are still attaches: $13 jeans & $19 boots. I love a good bargain, but I was disappointed w/ the presentation. Was it wrong for me to be upset w/ getting a shoebox? It wasn't wrapped & the price tags were still on. I can see leaving price tags on if the gift was expensive, but I seriously feel like he didn't put much effort into this. He did get me some earrings as well that were nice, but he didn't get me what I asked for. I wanted my hari & nails done & a night out at the hotel w/ just the 2 of us. We were w/ relatives & could have done this so the kids could be watched. Instead, this is what I get. What do you think?
