Christians,Do you believe in the coming of Elijah the Restorer?

According to Jesus in the New Testament, Elijah has returned in the form of John the Baptist. It was prophesied in the book of Malachi , Old Testament, that Elijah would return before the Messiah... nowhere in the Bible does it state that Elijah will return for the second coming of Christ.
