Looking for an excalibur/kingarthur movie?

I believe... not for positive that it was Disney but I haven't found it. There was a live action movie, where a kid found excalibur or the sword in the stone...I don't have many details I think merlin lived in a tree or forest and I remember the boy liked some girl and there was a birthday party or something and the kid hid the sword under his bed. Its not the animated sword and the stone... that is the only thing that keeps popping up when I am searching for it. I can't remember any big plots or details about the movie other than something about "if you do this you'll lose excalibur" The kid was kind of an outcast/unpopular...liked the cute girl... found the sword in the stone...I remember vaguely a scene where he was on his bed swinging it...and then hid it under his bed...And came back and it was gone...idk. Hopefully someone can help me so im not racking my brain anymore...or tell me I was dreaming the whole thing lol.
