Is "the Sun will come out tomorrow" inductive or deductive reasoning?

Can one sentence even be inductive or deductive reasoning? My first guess was deductive. Rule: the laws of inertia apply everywhere at all times. The Earth rotates fully once per day. But my teacher marked me wrong. He said it was inductive. The sun came out yesterday. The sun came out today. Therefore, the sun will come out tomorrow.
