If I get a marriage license in one county in California do I have to have it recorded in the same county.?

Here's the scenario. I want to get my marriage license in Contra Costa county, Get married in Marin County and have it recorded in San Francisco County. Is this possible or do I need to have it recorded in the county in which it was obtained in California?
